What You’ll Win
Chips Ahoy! will select one lucky winner (and their three best friends) to spend an entire weekend in a Malibu beach house this summer. Keke Palmer has been enlisted by the Chips Ahoy! brand to help with the contest promotion
The reason Chips Ahoy! is doing such a big giveaway is to promote their new and improved Chips Ahoy! recipe. The iconic cookie is currently rolling out the new formula (and packaging) in stores across the country.
Boasting an “MMMproved” cookie, the new recipe has a higher cacao chocolate chip and more Madagascar vanilla. There’s even a new mixing process to create a better texture to the cookie itself.
The results have been…mixed. Chips Ahoy! fans are currently flooding the comments sections of their posts saying how the cookies taste worse than the original recipe.
“They’re twice as thin and taste different. They’re terrible,” one comment reads.
Some consumers, however, say the cookies taste closer to the original formula from the 80s and early 90s.
“Thank God the new recipe finally tastes like the Chips Ahoy! I grew up with the early and mid 80s,” one commenter said.
You’ll have to grab a pack and see for yourself if you think the new recipe is worth the hype or not.
