Winter 2025
January-late February 2025
For anyone wanting to plan a cruise, this is the perfect time of year to book. Known as wave season for all the cruise lines, they tend to offer major savings across the board. The earlier you book, the better your options.
February 9, 2025
This is the absolute last day to get all of your Easter weekend travel booked (which falls on March 31 this year). It's also a good cutoff date for spring break plans. Again, booking ASAP is going to net you the most savings.
February 29, 2025
Did you know 2024 is a Leap Year? Of course, all the airlines and travel companies are going to have special promotions to celebrate. Keep your eyes peeled in the next few weeks to snag the savings as soon they drop.
Spring 2025
April 15, 2025
Planning a quick Memorial Day trip (May 27)? This is the last weekend you should be booking any getaways to maximize your savings. If you really want to save money, you should book for Memorial Day in late February.
Summer 2025
June 1, 2025
Unfortunately, the Fourth of July falls on a Thursday this year, which kind of puts a wrench in any 3-day weekend plans. But that just means you have an excuse for a 4-day weekend, right? Ideally you'll book 3 months in advance, but this is the last date for Fourth of July savings.
August 8, 2025
For all Labor Day (September 2) plans, this is the cutoff. However, there might be some last-minute deals that pop up, so be sure to keep checking in for extra savings. The average booking time for Labor Day is about one to three months in advance.
Fall 2025
October 31, 2025
Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, and Christmas travel should be booked no later than Halloween 2024. This year, Thanksgiving falls later in the month (November 28), and Hanukkah (December 25-January 2) overlaps with Christmas. That being said, the earlier you can get everything booked for the holidays, the better.
Holiday 2025
November 29-December 3, 2025
For the absolute biggest and best travel deals of 2024, this is your ideal time frame. Black Friday (November 29) will kick off the savings on flights, hotels, and more. You might even find some last-minute deals on New Year's travel. Cyber Monday (December 2) and Travel Tuesday (December 3) will also boast major savings.
