The Jackbox Party Packs ranked
9. The Jackbox Party Pack (2014) — $24.99

While The Jackbox Party Pack is the OG classic and paved the way for all future Jackbox Party Pack games, our biggest complaint with it is that there isn’t much variety when it comes to the games included.
Two of the games (You Don’t Know Jack and Lie Swatter) are trivia-based, and another two (Drawful and Fibbage) are quite similar, as well. The last game in the pack, Word Spud, is hit or miss, depending on who you’re playing with. The games are fun, but there are better packs available.
Game title | Number of players |
---|---|
You Don’t Know Jack | 1 — 4 |
Fibbage XL | 2 — 8 |
Drawful | 3 — 8 |
Lie Swatter | 1 — 100 |
Word Spud | 2 — 8 |
8. The Jackbox Party Pack 5 (2018) — $29.99

The Jackbox Party Pack 5 has games that are certainly worth playing at least one time. Patently Stupid is the most fun, forcing you to pitch silly invention ideas to your friends. You Don’t Know Jack is back with more trivia, and Mad Verse City is a robot rap battle.
Zeeple Dome is unique (you fling your character around to hit enemies), but the controls are too finicky to make it fun. Split The Room is also pretty fun, although the game itself doesn’t hold up. While there’s fun to be had here, these aren’t the most memorable games from Jackbox.
Game title | Number of players |
---|---|
Mad Verse City | 3 — 8 |
You Don’t Know Jack Full Stream | 1 — 8 |
Split the Room | 3 — 8 |
Patently Stupid | 3 — 8 |
Zeeple Dome | 1 — 6 |
7. The Jackbox Party Pack 6 (2019) — $29.99

Another mixed back of a pack, The Jackbox Party Pack 6 has a few shining gems worth checking out. Trivia Murder Party 2 is exceptional, improving on the first iteration of the game. Role Models is fun to play if you want to get to know your friends better, and Joke Boat is like a worse Quiplash.
Push the Button is Jackbox’s attempt at Among Us, but it’s too random to be played in succession. While it’s great to see Jackbox trying new things in this pack, it falls a bit flat compared to others.
Game Title | Number of Players |
---|---|
Role Models | 3 — 6 |
Push the Button | 4 — 10 |
Joke Boat | 3 — 8 |
Trivia Murder Party | 1 — 8 |
Dictionarium | 3 — 8 |
6. The Jackbox Party Pack 4 (2017) — $24.99

Full of games for creatives, The Jackbox Party Pack 4 has some fun additions to it. Fibbage is back with the added “Enough About You” section, making the game more personal to the people you’re playing with. Monster Seeking Monster is a silly dating game, and Survive the Internet can be exceptional if you’re playing with a solid group.
Civic Doodle feels similar to Gartic Phone, but there are better Jackbox drawing games available. Bracketeering can be fun if you have a large group, but it still feels repetitive after awhile. This pack has a solid selection of games you’ll want to play more than once.
Game Title | Number of Players |
---|---|
Fibbage 3 | 2 — 8 |
Survive the Internet | 3 — 8 |
Monster Seeking Monster | 3 — 7 |
Civic Doodle | 3 — 8 |
Bracketeering | 3 — 16 |
5. The Jackbox Party Pack 7 (2020) — $29.99

The Jackbox Party Pack 7 has great games available to play. Quiplash is back for the third time, and Champ’d Up is a new take on the drawing game formula. You draw fighters to go up against each other in random events. Blather ‘Round is also an excellent guessing game.
The weakest games in the pack are Talking Points (which only works if your friends are super outgoing) and The Devil And The Details (usually ending up in chaos if you have too many people playing and arguing over each other at once). Each game in this pack is definitely worth your time, though.
Game Title | Number of Players |
---|---|
The Devils and the Details | 3 — 8 |
Champ’d UP | 3 — 8 |
Talking Points | 3 — 8 |
Quiplash 3 | 3 — 8 |
Blather Round | 2 — 6 |
4. The Jackbox Party Pack 9 (2022) — $29.99

Before Jackbox Party Pack 10, the newest release from the Jackbox team has been highly praised and well-received. Jackbox Party Pack 9 just goes to show that the franchise is anything but stale. Every mini-game in the set is a strong contender, even the “weaker” additions.
Quixort is the undisputed frontrunner of all the games in Jackbox Party Pack 9. Your group is split in to teams where you’ll organize trivia questions into a timeline. Roomerang is essentially Quiplash 2.0, and the ever-classic Quibbage gets a fresh update, too. Junktopia is the weakest link, feeling a bit boring, but you’ll still have plenty of fun with this solid set of games.
Game Title | Number of Players |
---|---|
Junktopia | 3 — 8 |
Quixort | 1 — 10 |
Roomerang | 4 — 9 |
Nonsensory | 3 — 8 |
Fibbage 4 | 3 — 8 |
3. The Jackbox Party Pack 2 (2015) — $24.99

It’s surprising to see such a strong showing of games in The Jackbox Party Pack 2 considering it was only the second installment in the franchise. Bomb Corp is hectic, but gives you a huge sense of achievement with every level you pass. Fibbage 2 is back, and Earwax will have you voting on funny sound effects.
Bidiots is one of the standouts, which forces you to bid over silly drawings. Quiplash XL is also here, with more prompts than ever to choose from. All five games in this Jackbox Party Pack are solid, so you can’t go wrong with playing any of them.
Game Title | Number of Players |
---|---|
Earwax | 3 — 8 |
Fibbage 2 | 2 — 8 |
Bidiots | 3 — 6 |
Quiplash XL | 3 – 8 |
Bomb Corp | 1 — 4 |
2. The Jackbox Party Pack 8 (2021) — $29.99

One of the more recent installments in the series, The Jackbox Party Pack 8, is nearly perfect. Drawful: Animate adds a twist to the tried and true game, and Weapons Drawn is a more complex drawing game that is easy to pick up playing after a round or two.
The Wheel Of Enormous Proportions is the silly game of the pack, but it’s still plenty of fun with fast-paced trivia. Job Job finally gives you the satisfaction of giving ridiculous answers to job interview questions, and The Poll Mine is a team game that will get everyone talking. There isn’t a miss in this pack, and it’s definitely worth purchasing.
Game Title | Number of Players |
---|---|
Job Job | 3 – 10 |
Weapons Drawn | 4 — 8 |
Drawful Animate | 3 — 10 |
The Poll Mine | 2 — 10 |
The Wheel of Enormous Proportions | 3 — 8 |
1. The Jackbox Party Pack 3 (2016) — $24.99

The Jackbox Party Pack 3 has the best of the best games in the franchise. Quiplash 2 is the best iteration of the Quiplash series, and the hysterially creepy Trivia Murder Party is good fun. Tee K.O. is another smash, forcing players to compete to become the best t-shirt designer around.
Guesspionage is an interesting game about strange statistics, and Fakin’ It is a bluffing game that will make you put down your screen for a minute or two. The Jackbox Party Pack 3 has something everyone will enjoy, no matter what kind of games they love.
Game Title | Number of Players |
---|---|
Tee K.O | 3 — 8 |
Quiplash 2 | 3 — 8 |
Trivia Murder Party | 1 — 8 |
Fakin’ It | 3 — 6 |
Guesspionage | 2 — 8 |
