You Can Now Get Paid To Be A Christmas Wine Taster

If your Christmas typically involves overdoing it on the wine, we’ve found your dream job.

Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without mulled wine, or without treating yourself to a few too many glasses here and there and regretting it the next morning.

If a boozy Christmas is typical in your household, wouldn’t it be so much better if you could actually get paid to be drinking the wine? It would definitely make your hangover worth it the next morning!

House of Townend are looking for a Christmas Wine Taster and you could be recruited to try out the best Christmas wine there is. You will be required to taste wine on the job and report back on aroma, taste, texture and overall experience as well as areas for improvement.

This is the dream Christmassy job for any wine fan, and is a fixed-term contract for one month trialling and providing feedback on up to six different bottles of red wine. You won’t need to have any prior experience in wine tasting on a professional level (drinking wine at every pre-drinks doesn’t count) but you will need to have a genuine passion for Christmas.
