A “Mega Greggs” With Giant Steak Bake Is Coming To Leicester Square
Calling all Greggs superfans, a new store is set to hit central London this month.
If you’ve ever spent a day in London, you might notice that the capital is rather low on Greggs stores in comparison to other areas in the UK. Greggs are finally doing something about it with the opening of their new huge flagship store.
The store is set to open in Leicester Square and construction for the “Mega Greggs” is already underway, with the future store location already decorated with a giant Steak Bake and Greggs pastry bag.
While there’s no official opening date confirmed yet, with construction underway we can probably expect the flagship to be open by summer. This means you’ll be able to pop in for unlimited access to Steak Bakes, Sausage Rolls and doughnuts whenever you’re visiting central London.
If you don’t visit Leicester Square often but still want your sausage roll fix, Greggs is rolling out around 150 new stores across the UK within the next year, including at The Stand, Canary Wharf, Paddington, St Pancras Station and Kings Cross in London.
While you can definitely expect to see all of your faves at the flagship Greggs store, you’ll also be able to pick up delicacies such as London Cheesecake and Tottenham Cake.
With these new stores being rolled out across London this means that tourists and regular visitors alike can enjoy Steak Bakes and Sausage Rolls, wherever you’re located in London.
