Here’s How To Get Your Hands On Cadbury Creme Egg McFlurries All Year Round

McDonald’s has removed Creme Egg McFlurries from its menu, but you can easily make them at home.

The Cadbury’s Creme Egg McFlurry is a fan favourite on the McDonald’s menu, but now that Easter has been and gone McDonald’s has made the decision to remove it until next year to make way for its new summer menu.

While the new summer menu does bring back some fan favourites, people are arguably upset about losing the best McFlurry. Luckily, it’s super easy to replicate the recipe from home so you can enjoy a tasty Creme Egg McFlurry all year long.

The only catch is in order to make a Creme Egg McFlurry from home, you’ll need to have a good stash of Cadbury’s Creme Eggs which can be harder to find (but not impossible) when it’s not Easter.

The recipe was developed by Susan Olayinka and you just need to follow 3 simple steps and 4 ingredients.

Ingredients:

  • Vanilla ice cream
  • Double cream
  • 4 Cadbury’s Creme Eggs
  • Chocolate or caramel sauce for the topping

Step1

Add the ice cream, double creme and Creme Eggs straight into a blender. Creme Eggs are pretty tough to cut into, so you’ll need a high powered blender for this to work, but you can also cut the Creme Eggs up into pieces before adding them into the blender to help speed up the process.

A good quality blender is also important to make sure that the iconic McFlurry consistency is also replicated, so if you don’t own a good blender now’s the time to invest in one.

Step 2

Let the blender work its magic! Once mixed together you’ll need to make sure the consistency is fluffy and resembles an ice cream dessert rather than a milkshake-like consistency. Make sure it’s all mixed together properly, but don’t overmix it either. You’ll want to stop blending once it looks fluffy with small chunks of chocolate mixed in.

Step 3

Finally, you’ll want to transfer your McFlurry into a glass and drizzle it with chocolate or caramel sauce (or both). You can also crush up an additional Creme Egg to serve on top if you really want to replicate the McDonald’s Creme Egg McFlurry.

So there you have it, an easy way to enjoy Creme Egg McFlurries all year long. If you’d rather just enjoy a standard McFlurry, students can get a student discount at McDonald’s and claim a free Cheeseburger, McFlurry Original or Mayo Chicken with the purchase of any Extra Value or Wrap Meal.
