We’re not joking. For eight weeks, you can get paid to sniff your dogs poo.

A plant-based dog food company wants a loving owner to test their pet’s stool for eight weeks.

OMNI is the company in question. Yes, they’re back. They offered one of you lucky lot to get your dog on a vegan diet for a whole year and pay you a hefty salary for it!

What they want isn’t too dissimilar either. They want pup owners to introduce their specially formulated food into their dog’s diet and monitor the impact of their stool.

And you guessed it, said measuring will involve a daily whiff of their poop! They’ll also want you to measure their overall health as they transition from a meaty lifestyle to a vegan one, colour of their stools, skin, fur, energy levels and behaviour.

If you’re lucky to land the gig, you’ll have to record your findings weekly.

And don’t worry, they’ll pay you for the trouble to you and your sinuses. The eight-week job will pay you £2,500 per month. You’ll also get a free two-month supply of plant-based food for your dog and discounted products from OMNI for a full year if you decide to stick your dog on the diet for longer.

So what’s the deal? OMNI have said they want to bust the myth of getting your pooch on a plant-based diet. They believe a meat-free plan can help reduce your dog’s “carbon paw printâ€, while still maintaining a healthy life full of all the good stuff.
