Black Friday 2023 at Walmart is almost here.
Since Black Friday starts earlier and earlier every year, the next few weeks are going to be crucial when it comes to tracking potential savings. Walmart is one of the retailers that usually kicks off their Black Friday sales extra early, usually rolling out their promos in waves.
November 25 is officially Black Friday on the calendar, but there will be deals well before that hitting the shelves. Previously, Walmart began their sales as early as six weeks before Black Friday, meaning it’s time to start thinking about your shopping list. Some of the best prices might even be before Black Friday itself.
Walmart also gave members of the Walmart Plus membership exclusive early access to the Black Friday savings on big ticket items like TVs, laptops, and other electronics. If you’re interesting in snagging these deals before everyone else, Walmart Plus only costs $12.95 per month — it might be worth it if you’re serious about saving money during Black Friday this year.
When Does The Walmart Black Friday Sale Start?
According to experts, the main Black Friday sale at Walmart is likely to start on Monday, November 21—four days before Black Friday itself.
Of course, there’s a huge chance there will be more sales even before Monday. Based on the previous two years of Black Friday sales at Walmart, it’s likely some deals will start rolling out as early as late October. There will also be plenty of sales going on all throughout November.
Walmart Black Friday Deals: What To Expect
Considering Walmart sells just about everything, there’s a Black Friday deal on a huge range of products throughout the store. Historically though, the best deals and biggest savings at Walmart during Black Friday are on electronics and homeware.
Things like TVs, video gaming products, kitchen appliances, and audio gear all tend to have bigger discounts as well.
And it’s not just previous-gen tech that gets discounted. The latest and greatest have the potential for savings, too. Last year, the Sony WH-1000XM4 had over $100 knocked off their regular retail price.
What Time Do Walmart’s Stores Open On Black Friday?
For Black Friday, Walmart typically opens at 5 a.m. Be sure to check with your local stores once it gets closer to the actual day, though.
It’s also worth noting that Walmart will be closed on Thanksgiving this year.
Will We See Any Stock Issues At Walmart On Black Friday?
Per usual, some items at Walmart did sell out faster than other during the Black Friday rush last year. Unsurprisingly, it was the AirPods Pro, PS5, and ultra discounted 4K TVs. Aside from the PS5 (which sold out instantly almost everywhere), most items were restocked at some point during the week.
However, by the time the Sunday following Black Friday came around, most of the hot items were sold out for good. If you see an offer you’re dying to get your hands on, it’s going to pay to get it sooner rather than later.
