TikTok Is Going Wild For Cargo Pants — Here’s Where To Get Yours
TikTok has surged demand for women’s cargos by 3,200%. But has this summer trend turned into a fashion staple?
As the Y2K fashion trend continues, cargo pants make a resurgence, we’ve found demand for the product increasing by 3,200% and searches for the product averaging at 33,100 a month. Wild.
This particular style has blown up on TikTok too, with creators styling the new trend sending them viral, and causing mass sell out.
How TikTok has sold out ANOTHER style
Dominating your FYP and Instagram feed and being worn by popular influencers and celebrities such as Rhianna and Dua Lipa, cargo pants are being paired with everything, from little crops to oversized T’s — this really is a staple for your SS22 wardrobe.
TikTok has propelled the demand for them, with over 450 million views for #cargos, highlighting the interest in this product. Creators are going viral on the platform for unveiling ‘new finds’ from different brands that are creating the must-have cargo pant.
The likes of Stradivarius and PLT seem to have stolen the limelight so far, but as the trend continues to surge, it’s possible new styles will emerge from brands wanting to be relevant.

1. Stradivarius STR straight leg cargo trousers — £29.99
This particular style of cargo pant has blown up on the platform, with the #stradivariuscargo getting 5 million views alone. Many creators are telling viewers, “run don’t walk” for this particular style, which has seen the product sell out across Stradivarius’ own site, and on ASOS.

2. BDG Y2K Cargo Pants — £58
The Urban Outfitters version are proving popular on the platform too. This style features a low rise fit which creators have been styling with crop tops and corsets to really accentuate the waist.
This creator sent the pants viral, with a total of 250k views on this video alone, making them one of Urban Outfitters most wanted products.

3. H&M’s Cargo Trouser — £14.99
If you’re looking for cargo’s at a cheaper price point, H&M has some great styles. One particular style blew up on TikTok, getting over 360K views and have since sold out.

4. Bershka Twill Multipocket cargo trousers — £29.99
The Bershka cargo pants have also proven popular on TikTok, with one creator going viral showing off the style, gaining almost 400k views. Sizes range from 4 to 16, with next day delivery priced at £3.95. The Twill Multipocket cargo trousers are shown below in khaki, but they also come in grey if you prefer a more subdued style.

Featuring a higher waist, this style has proven popular for being one of the most flattering styles of cargo pants. The demand for this style is high following videos going viral on TikTok of the trouser, making popular colourways hard to get hold of.
