These Are The Red Flags To Look Out For When You Go Back To Someone’s House After A Night Out

You can tell a lot about someone by their room.

If you’ve ever found yourself in a stranger’s bedroom, bathroom or kitchen after a night out, you may have noticed a few things that are certainly questionable. Let’s face it, while our bedrooms might not always be the tidiest you can definitely tell a lot about a person based on their choice of decor or personal hygiene products.

For some people, it might be easy to overlook these red flags just for one night, but for others, it could be a huge non-negotiable and it might be the time to rustle up an excuse to get out of there quickly before you sleep with them.

Of course, room decor doesn’t truly reflect someone’s true character, but let’s face it, some bathrooms or bedrooms may contain some very specific items that tell you everything you need to know about them.

We asked you over on Instagram what some of your red flags are when it comes to someone else’s bathroom/bedroom/kitchen or student house and honestly, your answers are pretty valid.

Your bedroom and bathroom red flags

  • Dirty underwear and socks in the open
  • Nail clippings
  • Silverfish
  • Mould that hasn’t been dealt with
  • ‘Shag board’ stats
  • Personal items clearly belonging to previous girlfriends/boyfriends like underwear lying around
  • A fascinating story we just couldn’t keep to ourselves…”I picked my best friend up from a dates house…when she called to pick her up he whipped out a cum mattress out from under the bed when they were watching a movie, quickest exit ever”
  • One Piece posters or merchandise

So, it turns out that there are some serious red flags that would put someone off from wanting to progress any further with you, so if any of these are in your bedroom or student house you might want to sort it out quickly!
