Netflix Confirms Return Of Record-Breaking Series

Green light your binge-watching sesh now.

It’s no secret that Squid Game was a massive hit, reaching record-breaking numbers.

Filming for Season 2 is expected some time this year, meaning we’ll probably have to wait until 2024 to watch the madness unfold. But, if you can’t wait that long then we have some exciting news for you.

Squid Games: The Challenge

A new reality competition is on the horizon — Squid Games: The Challenge. A real-life version of the record-breaking series, 456 players will compete for the largest cash prize ever to be given away on a reality show. A whopping $4.56m (£3.7m) is up for grabs for the lucky survivor.

Don’t worry, no one dies if they fail a challenge (as far as we’re aware). The ten-part series will see contestants compete in games inspired by the original show. Plus some new ones, to keep us on our toes. Contestants will have their strategies put to the test, as well as their alliances and character, all while other competitors are eliminated around them.

The series is planned to come out this November — the perfect way to spend those dark, chilly nights.
