These are the uni subjects you should be studying if you wanna earn lots of cash.

Exams are done. It’s time for some summer fun before knuckling down to study again in September.

Money isn’t everything, but it sure as heck helps in life. The data team at Satsuma have crunched the numbers to find out which degrees you should study if you want to make a lot of money.

WHICH UNI SUBJECTS MAKE YOU THE MOST MONEY?

1. Medicine & Dentistry

It’s no surprise the best degree for making money is Medicine and Dentistry, after all, most these students will study a whopping 7 years to complete their course then spend their lives helping others – well deserved if you ask us!

2. Economics

Of course, studying money means you earn more money. Makes sense.

3. Engineering

There are so many different types of engineering subjects you can specialise in and you can expect to get a good salary after.

4. Mathematical Sciences

Data is a big deal right now, so a degree in Mathematical Science could help you start a lucrative career.

5. Pharmacology, Toxicology and Pharmacy

Similar to Medicine, these subjects help you help people and get a nice pay check at the end of the month.

So, Medicine and Dentistry students once again top the pile, earning £47,100 five years after graduation; followed by Economics graduates (£40,200) and Engineering graduates (£34,300).

At the other end of the spectrum, it’s bad news for Creative Arts and Design graduates, five years after leaving University the average salary is just £20,500 per annum which is unfortunately £7,100 less than the current UK average salary of £27,600.

Agriculture graduates earn the second-lowest after five years, pulling in just £21,700. Humanities and Liberal Arts students earn the third-lowest five years after completing their course on £21,800.
