The Student Beans Sex ‘N Education survey reveals men and women have completely different priorities around sex. Don’t pretend to act too shocked.

Our new survey highlighted the different ways men and women aged 16-24 think about sex and to be honest it’s not that shocking.

As if it hopped straight out our screens and onto our survey, we found that of the 989 student respondents, women were more likely to value open communication and physical affection than men. While men on the other hand were more interested in regular sex and trying new things than women. Who would’ve thought? 😉

Here’s what students think is most important in a sexual relationship:

  1. Open communication
  2. Sexual chemistry
  3. Physical affection
  4. Regular sex
  5. Trying new things

Women and men aren’t complete opposites though, with both genders stating that their top priority when looking for someone to date is a sense of humor. I heard one if you can someone laugh, you can make them do anything. Does that include falling in love?
