Make $10K By Taking Food Pics

Social media foodies, this is for you. 🍩

If you’re like me and live by the mantra, “Phone eats first” whenever you get a delicious meal placed in front of you, then you’re going to want to pay attention. You now have the chance to earn $10,000 just by taking mouthwatering pictures of food.

For the first time ever, Yelp is hiring a Chief Food Photographer. And no, you don’t even need to be a professional photographer to apply!

What You’ll Do

For one lucky applicant, Yelp is going to send you on a fantastic food tour around the country. You’ll sample local dishes along with highlighting which ones were your absolute favorites.

The only requirement is that you visit two restaurants per month and create two blog posts for Yelp’s social media. Of course, you’ll be taking photos the entire time, too!

Aside from having the chance to eat delicious food from all over, the winner gets $10,000 for their efforts.

How To Apply

If you think you have what it takes to be the first official foodie photographer for Yelp, here’s exactly what Yelp is looking for on your application:

  • Love of your local food scene
  • Social media skills
  • Quality photography, which includes up to 10 unique photos of food or restaurants you’ve added to Yelp pages
  • 30-60 second video explaining why you’re the best person for the job

Applications are due October 7, and the winner will be selected on October 31.
