Jet2 Holidays free child places are an excellent way to save money on your next family holiday. As with most free child place holiday deals, you’ll get one free child travelling for every two adults travelling. For the offer, the child will receive a free flight on Jet2 with one piece of checked-in luggage, in-resort coach transfer and a bed in the selected hotel included. But extras such as inflight meals and extra legroom seats will be charged at the standard rate.

Some Jet2 villa holidays are also included in the Jet2 offer, but the deal is limited to one free child per villa. For holidays with a deposit option, the free child space will be charged the applicable deposit rate (the same as the adults), however, at the time of paying the final balance, the free child deposit will be deducted from the final balance of the holiday.

When you fly with Jet2, you can take on board one piece of carry-on hand luggage free of charge, as long as it weighs no more than 10kg and is no larger than 56cm x 45cm x 25cm. This size also needs to include any wheels and handles on the bag. If your hand luggage doesn’t fit these requirements, you’ll need to check it in on the day and pay a fee.

You can also bring a small, personal item on board (such as a handbag or laptop in a bag). As with most airlines, all liquids, aerosols and gels need to be in containers of 100ml or less, and inside of a clear, resealable plastic bag.

You can book up to three 22kg hold bags per person, per Jet2 flight by paying the applicable charges. However, note that Jet2 doesn’t allow single hold bags that weigh more than 32kg.

Jet2 will charge you £12 per kg for baggage that exceeds your total weight allowance.

Jet2 operates flights from Manchester Airport at Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, depending on where you’re going. Jet2 flights to and from Bulgaria, France, Greece, Italy and Madeira will operate at Terminal 1, while everything else flies out of T2 at Manchester Airport.
