Earn Money By Repping Your Favorite Food Brands On Campus

The easiest (and most fun) side-gig.

Let’s face it, if you’re in college, you could probably use some extra cash. Whether it’s for bills, textbooks, or just spending money, it’s no easy feat to juggle a part-time job while being a full-time student.

Thankfully, certain food brands are always looking for college ambassadors to help them spread their reach. Scroll to find out which brands are hiring and how you can become one of the ir on-campus ambassadors.

Insomnia Cookies

Collegiate athletes, this one is for you! Insomnia Cookies’ ambassador program, aptly titled “Insomnia Athletes,” launched in 2021 in order to support various college athletics programs across the country. Specifically, there’s a strong focus on e-sports and female athletes.

While they aren’t currently accepting applications (their spring cohort deadline was January 8), keep checking their website to see when they’re going to announce applications for the Fall 2024 group of Insomnia Athletes!

Harvest Snaps

For all the healthy snack fiends out there, Harvest Snaps has a pretty great campus ambassador program available. Your main job will be to advocate for healthier snacks and better nutrition options on campus.

Aside from that, you’ll also be responsible for promoting the brand on social media, organizing health fairs, and having a table at various on-campus events. Click here to send in your application.

Red Bull

If you’ve ever been to a concert, sporting event, or even on your own campus, you’ve probably seen a Red Bull car giving out free cans of their energy drink. And honestly? It’s a great marketing tactic.

Red Bull’s campus representatives have a pretty big presence on social media, so if you don’t mind talking to strangers and giving them free cans of energy drinks, it’s a solid gig to get involved in. Just head over to the Red Bull career page and search “student marketer” to see the current openings available.

Rico’s Chips

If you’re constantly reaching for salty snacks, Rico’s ambassador program is the one for you. Rico’s is a family-owned business based in San Antonio, Texas, and they’re always looking for social media influencers.

The company makes everything from cheese sauces, ready-to-eat popcorn, snow cone syrups, nachos, restaurant-style tortilla chips, sliced jalapeños, roasted peanuts, and other snacky foods.

Your job will be to represent the brand on campus through contests and events, making content for social media, trying recipes, and more. Head over to their website to submit your application.

Stanley

Since it’s the brand everyone is talking about right now, it’s no surprise that Stanley recently launched a student ambassador program. The position is part-time and paid, with ambassadors receiving a $1,600 stipend.

Of course, being selected as a Stanley campus ambassador is no easy feat. Students must have at least 1,000 followers on TikTok and/or Instagram to be eligible. The newest group of ambassadors start their spring stint on March 18. Click here to keep checking back to see when applications for the newest cohort are announced.
