How do I pay for my holiday?

Once you’ve found a holiday you’d like to book, you can secure your getaway by either paying in full, paying monthly or taking advantage of our low deposit payment plan – using one of a number of payment methods.

Can I book any excursions through loveholidays?

Yes, you can! Whether you’re after guided food tours of Barcelona, theme park tickets in Orlando or entry to palaces in Paris, you can book a wide range of attraction tickets and excursions on our online holiday experiences store.

You can access the store whenever, wherever, before or after you book.

Alternatively, once you’ve booked your holiday with us, and can access it any time before your trip and while you’re away on the ‘Manage bookings’ section of the loveholidays app or online at Manage My Booking.

How do I book a transfer?

You can add hotel transfers to your booking after you’ve selected your holiday but before you pay, on the ‘Hotel transfer’ section of the offer summary page.

For most destinations, you’ll be able to pick from a range of transfer types (subject to availability), including:

Shuttle transfer
A shuttle transfer is a shared bus or coach that makes stops en route to your hotel. Occasionally, the transfer will include passengers from 2 or 3 flights. Waiting times are usually kept to a minimum but can be up to 60 minutes.

Express shuttle
While an express transfer is similar to a shuttle transfer, it usually involves fewer drop-offs and pick-ups, making the journey quicker. This type of shuttle may still collect passengers from 2 or 3 flights, meaning the wait time to leave the airport may be longer than a private taxi.

Private transfer
A private transfer is a taxi or minivan reserved solely for your party. Private transfers will wait for you at your arrival airport and take you directly to your accommodation. Exclusively reserved for you, this transfer escorts you from door to door, provided there's access.

Wheelchair-adapted transfer
Wheelchair-adapted transfers are adapted with either a rear-tail lift or ramp to provide those using a wheelchair with a hassle-free transfer. There are also straps to secure you safely into the vehicle. Your driver will wait for you and take you directly to your hotel or apartment.

Please note that these vehicles can only accommodate 1 wheelchair.

What is ATOL and how does it affect me?

The Air Travel Organisers Licence (ATOL) is a scheme that financially protects travellers in the event that a travel operator they’ve booked with ceases trading – our ATOL number is 10989.

As long as you book at least a flight and hotel package, every part of your holiday package is financially protected by the ATOL scheme.

The ATOL scheme does not cover hotel-only bookings (bookings that do not include a flight) and ATOL protection does not apply to cancelled flights.

After your booking has been processed and confirmed, you will receive an ATOL certificate outlining your protection. Please see our booking conditions for more information on ATOL holiday protection.

If we were to cease trading, the ATOL scheme would ensure any monies paid to us would be refunded, or if you are already on holiday, your repatriation home.
