Film buffs, this is the perfect job for you.
If you're like everyone else right now and looking for some easy ways to earn extra cash, you're in luck. Jewelry company Shane Co. is looking for the perfect person to sit and watch 10 classic films centering around one important theme—the glow-up.
Urban Dictionary describes a glow-up as, "a mental, physical, and an emotional transformation for the better. Glow Ups can be both natural or planned. As well as being gradual and permanent, or fast and temporary."
The movies you'll be required to watch are as follows:
- Pretty Woman
- The Devil Wears Prada
- Miss Congeniality
- My Fair Lady
- Crazy, Stupid, Love
- Mulan
- Last Holiday
- Can't Buy Me Love
- My Big Fat Greek Wedding
- Moonstruck
According to Shane Co., "We're looking for film lovers who feel inspired by a good glow-up story to watch 10 glow-up movies. Glow-up movies are films where the main character experiences a memorable mental and physical makeover."
The ideal candidate will need to have their own personal glow-up story and be able to watch all 10 movies by September 9. You'll also need to be at least 18 years old and a U.S. citizen. For your efforts, you'll be given $1,000 and a $50 Amazon gift card to rent all the movies.
Applications (which will require you to explain why you're the best person for the job and talk about your favorite glow-up movie plot) are due July 29 with the winner being announced on August 12. If you're ready to apply, click here!
