With Valentine's Day fast-approaching, you might be trying to secure a date in time for the big event. But everyone also knows that the process of going on a first date can be, well...terrible.
That's why Shane Co. is ready to pay you to go on a first date. Actually, 15 first dates. And you'll make over $1,000 for your efforts.
What You'll Do
The selected winner will go on 15 first dates with 15 different people over the course of five months. While second dates are highly encouraged, they won't go your total date count for the competition.
"The selected winner would be required to find the dates (via a dating app or another avenue) and document their journey, then report back on their experience," said Shane Co.
What You'll Get
For your time and efforts, you'll earn $1,500. That's a whopping $100 per date you go on!
"Practice makes perfect, especially when it comes to first dates," said Shane Co. in an official statement. "That’s why we want to give you a helping hand in shaking off those first-date nerves and making more magical moments happen."
How To Apply
If you're ready to start swiping to find your dream date, be sure to check out the rules for applying:
- You must be single
- You must secure 15 different first dates over the course of five months
- Your dates don't have to be strangers, but they need to be different people
- Take a photo during each date and fill out a brief worksheet summarizing your experience
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
Applications are due February 10, with the winner being announced on February 27.
