Become A Christmas Moodcatcher

EduBirdie is looking for someone to catch the Christmas mood and hold onto it for as long as possible without letting go.

"We decided to figure out how to carry the Christmas spirit with us as long as possible so that every student can go to school with a piece of the holiday inside and every employee can take on their tasks with the feeling of still returning to the holiday in the evening," said the company.

Think this is the perfect fit for you? EduBirdie said they're looking for people who:

have been listening to jingle bells since November
decorated their houses enough that they can be seen from any part of the street
take their Christmas tree design seriously enough that it can be part of a portfolio
are real architects who make not just Christmas gingerbread, but true wonders of the world
Christmas is not just any holiday, but a state of mind

What You'll Do

The 25 people selected will be divided into five categories, each with a different task. Depending on the task, you'll collect various types of data to send back to EduBirdie over the course of the two weeks after Christmas.

Home Aloners

For those who love cozying up to a good Christmas movie, you'll watch one Christmas movie every day for two weeks. You'll select from the following films:

Is Christmas cuisine more your vibe? If selected for this prestigious task, you'll receive a Christmas meal every day to sample. The menu is finalized before tasting, but meals may included (but are not limited to):

Honey-glazed ham
Scalloped potatoes
Roast turkey and gravy
Yorkshire pudding
Beef wellington
Cranberry salad
Candied sweet potatoes
Creamy corn pudding

Heartgivers

As the famous Christmas song by Wham! says, "Last Christmas, I gave you my heart / but the very next day, you gave it away." If Christmas music is your go-to way to celebrate the season, this is your jam (pun absolutely intended).

EduBirdie will provide a playlist of Christmas music that you'll listen to for an hour and a half every day. You'll then have to assess if the music elevates you mood or simply gets on your nerves after continual listening.

Grinch Hunters

Presents and Christmas go together like milk and cookies. If you're selected to be a Grinch Hunter, EduBirdie will send you a personalized gift (based on preferences you'll provide them with) every day for two weeks. Not bad, huh?

While they haven't announced any of the specifics of the gifts, they assured us that it's going to be pretty spectacular.

Luck Elves

If you're one of the lucky five selected as a Luck Elf, you'll do all of the previous tasks at the same time. That might take some serious Christmas cheer, but we believe in you!
