Ingredients

  • 400g chickpeas, drained and rinsed

  • 15ml olive oil

  • 5g smoked paprika

  • 2g cumin

  • 2g garlic powder

  • 1g cayenne pepper (optional for extra heat)

  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).

  2. In a large bowl, combine the chickpeas, olive oil, smoked paprika, cumin, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, and salt. Toss well to ensure the chickpeas are evenly coated with the spice mixture.

  3. Spread the seasoned chickpeas in a single layer in the air fryer basket.

  4. Cook the chickpeas in the air fryer for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking.

  5. Once crispy and golden brown, remove from the air fryer and let them cool slightly before serving.
