4 large eggs
Ice cubes
Cold water
Instructions
Preheat your air fryer to 270°F (about 132°C) for 3 minutes.
Gently place the eggs in the air fryer basket using a spoon or tongs.
Cook the eggs at 270°F (about 132°C) for 13-15 minutes depending on your desired doneness — 13 minutes for soft boiled and 15 minutes for medium to hard boiled.
While the eggs are cooking, prepare an ice bath by filling a bowl with ice cubes and cold water.
Once cooking time is complete, transfer the eggs immediately into the ice bath and let them sit for about 5-10 minutes to stop further cooking.
Peel the eggs carefully, season with salt and pepper, and serve as a snack or in salads.
Notes
For softer yolks, reduce cooking time by 1 minute. Experiment with timing to find your perfect egg consistency.
Add a pinch of smoked paprika or a dash of hot sauce on sliced eggs for an extra flavour kick.
