This easy air fryer baked oats recipe is perfect for busy mornings. Here’s everything you need to make it.
Ingredients
50g rolled oats
120ml almond milk
15g peanut butter
1/2 banana, mashed
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
15ml honey or maple syrup
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1 pinch salt
15g chocolate chips (optional)
15g chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
Preheat your air fryer to 180°C (360°F). You can skip this step if you're short on time!
In a blender, combine the rolled oats, almond milk, peanut butter, mashed banana, vanilla extract, honey, baking powder, and salt. Blend until smooth. OR mix everything in a bowl if you prefer a chunkier texture.
Pour the mixture into an oven-safe ramekin or small baking dish that fits inside your air fryer basket.
Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts over the top if desired.
Place the ramekin in the air fryer and cook for 12-15 minutes, or until the oats are set and slightly golden on top.
Carefully remove the ramekin using oven mitts (it will be hot) and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Enjoy directly from the ramekin or serve it on a plate.
Notes
For a sweeter taste, add an extra 1 tablespoon of honey or syrup.
Switch out almond milk for any milk of your choice.
Add cinnamon or nutmeg for extra flavour.
Top with fresh berries or a drizzle of melted chocolate when serving.
Although best enjoyed fresh, this can be made ahead and stored in the fridge for up to 2 days. Reheat in the air fryer for 5 minutes at 180°C (360°F) before serving.
