Question 1

What is One Key?

Accepted Answer

One Key is our combined loyalty program. Whether you’re on Expedia, Hotels.com or Vrbo, as a One Key member you’ll earn rewards when you book travel on eligible hotels, vacation rentals, car rentals, flights, activities, and cruises.  It’s even compatible with existing airline loyalty programs. And the great thing is that you can earn and use your rewards on bookings with Expedia, Hotels.com and Vrbo all with the same account.
- To get started, click [here](https://www.hotels.com/login?&uurl=e3id%3Dredr%26rurl%3D%2F%3Flocale%3Den_US) to join, it’s free!
- You earn [OneKeyCash](https://service.hotels.com/en-us/#/article/39611) and [trip elements](https://service.hotels.com/en-us/#/article/39612) when you book eligible travel on Expedia, Hotels.com and Vrbo. And the more you earn, the more you can use on future bookings and reach a higher membership tier status.
- One Key has 4 membership tiers: Blue, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. The higher the level, the better the rewards – you can learn about these perks and how to qualify for the higher levels in [Earn One Key tier status](https://service.hotels.com/en-us/#/article/39612).

Question 2

What are Member Prices and how do I unlock them?

Accepted Answer

Member Prices are only available to customers who unlock them. These are lower prices that we've specially negotiated for our customers. You won't find Member Prices on hotel or vacation rental comparison sites either. Even lower than our special rate promotions, Member Prices are discounts applied on top of current hotel or vacation rental deals or, when there is no current hotel deal, standard prices. How deep a discount you receive depends on your chosen dates, your destination, and your selected hotel or vacation rental.
You can unlock Member Prices in 2 ways:
- Become a [Hotels.com® Rewards](https://service.hotels.com/en-gb/#/link/20290) member
- Download the Hotels.com® app

Question 3

The scoop on change policies, fees, and refunds.

Accepted Answer

If you don’t see the option to make changes online, just give us a call.
- We won’t charge you a fee, but the hotel or vacation rental might. You can get the low-down on the property’s policies in your booking details. You’ll need to use a credit card to pay for any fees or rate differences.
- The change policies for [Member Prices](https://service.hotels.com/en-gb/#/article/20285) are the same as any other booking.
- The Member Price will apply to all the days in your itinerary that your original booking covered.
- Your refund amount and how long it takes to hit your account depends on your booking type and how you paid. For more info, check out [Refunds on hotel and vacation rental bookings](https://service.hotels.com/en-gb/#/article/20278).

Question 4

How do I find my booking?

Accepted Answer

If you don't have a Hotels.com account or can't see your booking listed, you can [look up your booking confirmation using your last name and the confirmation](https://service.hotels.com/profile/findbookings.html) number emailed with your booking.

Question 5

How do I apply a discount code?

Accepted Answer

On the search results page, select the hotel or vacation rental you want to book.
i. Select your desired room, apartment, or equivalent.
ii. If the hotel or vacation rental offers you the option of when you would like to pay, choose **Pay now**. If you don't choose **Pay now**, you won't be able to use your discount.
iii. In **Your Reservation Summary**, scroll down to **Apply a coupon code**. You'll find this on the right side of the page under the information on pricing, taxes, and the amount you need to pay.
iv. Enter your discount code and select **Apply**. Remember: You'll have to apply your coupon code before you book!
