We’ve gone all over the internet to find the top travel tips you need to use this summer (and all the time, tbh). Check out how to hack your travel to the max!
How To Fly With An Extra Carry-On Item
TikTok is the place to go when it comes to finding the latest and greatest when it comes to travel tips. The newest hack? Use a food bag to smuggle an extra carry-on item. Specifically, an Auntie Anne’s Pretzels bag. Allow us to explain.
Most airlines only allow you two carry-on items: a suitcase and a personal item (i.e. a backpack, purse, etc.). But heaven forbid you have three items you need to carry on!
One savvy TikTok user found out that food bags don’t count toward your carry-on items. Appropriately, they crammed it full of travel items, and no one said anything about it. You’d better start saving those pretzel bags!
Never Be Late For Your Flight Again
Trying to figure out when to leave for the airport in order to make your flight can be a huge pain, right? Lyft has decided to take all the guesswork out with their new in-app feature.
Lyft is now able to connect to your calendar, find your flight information, and send you a notification on the perfect time to leave in order to catch your flight. How easy is that?
Plus, Lyft added another feature to make your travels easier. The rideshare app now allows you to pre-order a ride as soon as you land. While you’re still taxiing on the plane, you can book your ride. As you get closer to your pick-up point, Lyft will automatically connect you with a driver so you can get to your next destination ASAP!
