When is Pumpkin Spice season 2024?

Pumpkin spice season is happening earlier every year. Most products are hitting the shelves around mid-August, with Starbucks bringing back their iconic Pumpkin Spice Latte on August 22, 2024. Krispy Kreme also brought back all of their pumpkin products around mid-August.
This is the earliest pumpkin spice season has made its debut. Most people follow immediately after Starbucks launches their PSL-related products on their menu, which normally occurs in early September. However, similar to Christmas, fall items hit the shelves earlier every season.
When is Pumpkin Spice season over?

Depending on where you’re getting your pumpkin spice-themed products from will depend on how long they’re available. Generally, pumpkin spice season starts around late August or mid-September and goes well through Thanksgiving, and some products can often be found through the end of the year.
Starbucks, for example, keeps its Pumpkin Spice Latte on its menu through the end of the year, even though its focus shifts to its holiday menu launch around the end of October. In other cases, it’s when stores run out of their pumpkin-themed inventory or it expires. Mid-October is when Christmas products will be on the shelves in full force, starting to edge out any pumpkin-themed items.

When does Starbucks have Pumpkin Spice?
Starbucks launched its forever-famous PSL on August 22, 20234. This is the earliest it’s been available ever. The drink normally launched in early September, but Starbucks decided to release it early this year to celebrate the fall season.
The PSL will be available until the end of the year. It will eventually phase out with all the holiday 2024 menu items, which have yet to be announced.
When does Dunkin’ have Pumpkin Spice?
A little less than a week after Starbucks, Dunkin’ launched its own pumpkin-themed fall menu on August 28, 2024. However, Dunkin’s almost always releases their fall menu earlier than everyone, making this a later release for them.
In previous years, the Dunkin’ pumpkin menu items were available on or around August 18th—sometimes even earlier. Dunkin’ usually ends their pumpkin-themed menu promotions in early November, which is when their holiday menu typically launches.
