With all the buzz surrounding the highly anticipated Barbie movie, Barbie mania is in full swing. And if you weren’t lucky enough to have a Malibu Barbie DreamHouse as a child (like myself), now might be your chance to finally realize your long lost childhood dream.
In honor of the upcoming film, Airbnb is partnering with Barbie and giving you the opportunity to stay in the official Barbie Malibu DreamHouse!
Life in Plastic is Fantastic
While you might be ready to book this Airbnb immediately, there is one twist—Ken is hosting!
“Ken is inviting two lucky guests to stay in the newly revamped Malibu DreamHouse in all its Kendom glory,” the press release states. “While Barbie is away, Ken is listing his room in her iconic Malibu DreamHouse on Airbnb and bringing Barbie’s all-pink world back by popular demand.”
What’s in the DreamHouse
Since it is a DreamHouse after all, there are plenty of incredible features at your disposal. These include:
- Disco roller rink
- Gym
- Giant sandbox
- Second-story pool
- Dirt bike
- Cowboy-themed, hot pink bedroom
There are also loads of other Barbie-themed promotions coming up. An interactive version of the house is part of the Barbie exhibit in Santa Monica and an HGTV four-part Barbie Dreamhouse Challenge competition debuts July 16.
Booking for two, one-night stays for up to two guests opens July 17, 10 a.m. PST
