Hotels.com is looking for one person to become their “Retro Beach Motelier” during the dog days of summer. If chosen, you’ll be staying in some of the best motels around the country for free. If that wasn’t incentive enough, you’ll also be compensated for your time and travels.
Wonder how much you’d make laying by the pool and lounging in the sun? According to Hotels.com, the price is $5,000, which they’ll happily pay you if selected. On top of that, you’ll also receive a $10,000 travel stipend to use for traveling to the beachside motels.
Vintage Chic
The winner will also get plenty of free stuff, too. Hotels.com will give you vintage beach freebies like striped umbrellas, retro sunglasses, a cooler, a solar-powered AM/FM radio, high SPF sunscreen, and a Polaroid camera.
Some of the places you’ll be tasked with visiting are as follows:
- The Pearl Hotel (San Diego, CA)
- Vagabond Hotel (Miami, FL)
- Montauk Beach House (Long Island, NY)
How To Enter
In order to be eligible for this dream job, you simply have to fill out a questionnaire. Some of the questions included are, “If you time travelled to the ’50s, who would you spend your beach vacation with?” Or, Describe why the retro beach motel is your perfect somewhere.”
Applicants must be from the United States and at least 21 years old. Applications are due August 6, so hurry and apply before it’s too late!
