Frosted Grape Pop-Tarts Are Back—Here’s Where To Get Them
90’s kids rejoice—this throwback Pop-Tart flavor has returned for good. 🍇
In the era of limited edition products, it can be easy to get caught up in the crazy flavors hitting the shelves seemingly without end (we see you Pumpkin Pie and Eggo Waffle flavors). But there’s something timeless about the original line up of Pop-Tart flavors, and the breakfast pastry company has finally acknowledged their mistake pulling this flavor from the shelves.
Originally introduced in 1967, Frosted Grape Pop-Tarts was one of the OG flavors, and was included in the first line of Frosted Pop-Tarts, which also included Dutch Apple, Raspberry, and Brown Sugar Cinnamon. Frosted Grape reached a fever pitch in the 90s, but was then only an on-again, off-again flavor. It was briefly brought back in 2014 before being completely discontinued in 2017. But the legend is finally back—and for good this time.
The company recently announced that the nostalgic flavor is going to be back in the regular rotation of flavors.
“At Pop-Tarts, we know what our fans want. Frosted Grape has been among the top flavors fans have been asking us to bring back,” the company said. “So, we could not be more stoked to finally bring back this Pop-Tarts G.O.A.T. — Grape-ist Of All Time.”
Pop-Tarts is even doing a sweepstakes, giving away a Y2Grape prize back for the first 50 people to show off their 90s, Frosted Grape Pop-Tart-loving outfits on social media. If you want to win a serious supply of the toaster pastries, this is definitely the way to go!
