DoorDash is expanding to more than just takeout 🍟
While you’re probably used to scrolling through your DoorDash app to find the perfect meal, the delivery service is looking to be your one stop shop for just about everything.
The company recently announced that they’re teaming up with other companies, not just restaurants, to deliver the goods right to your door. Plus, with your Student Beans discount, you can get it cheaper than ever.
Groceries, Convenience Stores, Sporting & Home Goods + More
In the past few years, DoorDash has slowly been building out their roster of places you can order from.
The most recent addition was Sprouts Farmers Market, allowing customers to shop from the store’s 375 locations across the country.
DoorDash also partnered with EG America to offer delivery from 10 of the company’s brand (including Cumberland Farms, Kwik Shop, and Turkey Hill).
BigLots is also a part of DoorDash. Customers can save at the discount store and their more than 1,400 locations in 48 different states.
Dick’s Sporting Goods is another recent addition for DoorDash. You can get on-demand delivery from the sporting goods chain and their more than 700 locations in 47 states.
It’s All About Selection
DoorDash has stated they’re committed to picking the best retailers when it comes to partnering with companies.
“DoorDash is hyper-focused on selection, and we’re excited about the significant progress we’ve made towards connecting every grocery, convenience, and retail store to every local consumer,” the company said in a statement.
It doesn’t look like they’re planning on slowing down anytime soon, which means getting everything delivered to you is going to be easier than ever.
The Newest Grocery Stores
Three new grocery chains were recently added to the DoorDash platform. They include:
- Giant Eagle, beginning with their stores in Columbus, Ohio
- Weis Markets, which will be offering first-party delivery, beginning with their stores in the mid-Atlantic
- Raley’s Companies, expanding their on-demand grocery delivery to over 213 locations
