Barbie-Themed Cafes Are Opening In These Two Cities
Are you ready to be a Barbie girl in a Barbie world? 💖
Over the course of the last week or so, you’ve probably seen everyone turning themselves into a Barbie selfie thanks to the new Barbie Selfie Generator. (If you haven’t done it, it’s well worth your time.) It also goes without saying that everyone is now extremely excited about Greta Gerwig’s Barbie.
Continuing on the hype train, two Barbie-themed cafés will be opening up ahead of the theatrical release of the film. Time to jump in your Barbie Corvette and head to one of the events!
Malibu Barbie Cafés
The two Barbie cafés will reside in New York City and Chicago. The pop-up promises to give you all things Malibu Barbie, circa the 1970s. There will be a life-size Barbie box, exclusive merch, and plenty of Barbie-themed photo ops.
As far as the menu goes, it’s being crafted by Masterchef semi-finalist Becky Brown. We don’t have a full menu yet, but some of the items included are:
- Pacific Paradise Pancakes
- West Coast Wave Wedge Salad
- California Dreamin’ Club Sandwich
The New York café will be open starting May 17 until September 15. The Chicago café opens June 7 and closes September 15. Tickets cost $35 for kids and $50 for adults. Get on the waitlist for New York or Chicago now!
Other Barbie Pop-Ups
Don’t worry if you’re not near either of the Barbie café locations. Los Angeles is also having their own exclusive Barbie experience soon. The World of Barbie will open on April 19. Tickets start at $34.50 for adults, and it’s already starting to sell out. Grab your tickets while you can!
