Uber Eats has revealed the most popular takeaways and restaurants across the UK to help us all decide what we should order for our dinner tonight. The competition aimed to bring awareness to and support small businesses that have been struggling through the cost of living crisis.
The restaurant of the year was crowned as Bristol-based shop Sandwich Sandwich which received a £100,000 cash prize to invest in their business.
So, if you’re wondering what to order tonight, here are the top Uber Eats restaurants in your area. Plus, if you’re thinking of travelling across the UK this year, you know where to visit!
Winner: Brorritos, Eltham
Brorritos serves up fresh Mexican food with all-day burritos, churros, tacos and more. If you love Mexican food but struggle to find decent options near you, it’s well worth a visit next time you’re in South London as it’s been voted the best restaurant in London.
Runners up: What The Pitta, Halo Burger, Roti King, Tofu Vegan Gunpowder, It’s All Greek To Me, Skewed Kitchen, Eat Lebö
Winner: Natty’s Jerk Kitchen, Portsmouth
Natty’s Jerk Kitchen has venues in Portsmouth and Bournemouth and serves up fresh jerk chicken, curry goat, patties and more. Plus, there are plenty of vegan-friendly options too so no one has to miss out.

Winner: Sandwich Sandwich, Bristol
Sandwich Sandwich was the winner of restaurant of the year, so if you’re in Bristol you’ll want to add stopping in to visit to your itinerary. As you might’ve guessed, they sell sandwiches but they’re not any old sandwiches. With tasty combos such as sweet potato hash and jerk chicken, you can also enjoy flatbreads, salad and all-day breakfast.

Winner: Brack Burger, Newcastle
If you’re visiting Newcastle be sure to stop at Brack Burger for insane burgers, mac and cheese bites, fried chicken and loaded fries as well as plenty of vegan options too.

Winner: PICNIC, Liverpool
As a finalist for restaurant of the year, PICNIC in Liverpool offers a bit of everything. From burritos, wraps, burgers, loaded fries, milkshakes and breakfast bagels there’s something for even the fussiest of eaters to enjoy.
Runners up: Aros Kitchen, Three Brothers, Salt & Pepper, Mughli Charcoal Pit, Nashville Cluck Burger & Co, Big Lola’s Caribou Poutine
Winner: Haystack Cafe, Swansea
Haystack Cafe is the perfect pit stop if you want breakfast thanks to the extensive breakfast menu. From pancakes, brunch, full English breakfasts and plenty of tea and coffee it’s one to add to your list if breakfast is your favourite meal of the day.

Midlands & East Anglia
Winner: LYFBAR, Telford
LYFBAR was designed with healthy options in mind and serves up tasty burgers, falafel boxes, protein smoothies and juices. If you want a healthier option but still want to eat out, it’s definitely a place to visit if you’re in Telford.
Runners up: Doorstop Desserts, Seoul Bowl, Grosvenor Fish Bar, Chainak, Taste From India, Doreen’s Kitchen, Asha’s TZATZIKI
Winner: Big Manny’s, Aberdeen
Big Manny’s was the winning restaurant in Scotland and it’s easy to see why. Serving up NYC-style pizza, wings and tasty desserts for super affordable prices, it’s no wonder it’s come out as restaurant of the year in Scotland.
Runners up: Mother India, Razzo Pizza Napoletana, Jimmy’s Express, Yippon Damasquino, Charcoals Bucks Bar, Salt + Chilli Oriental
Winner: Seed, Belfast
Seed is a health-focused restaurant serving up seasonal salads, acai bowls, overnight oats, burritos, soup and healthy treats. If you like to get your 5 a day in it’s a great place to stop for nutritious and healthy lunches if you don’t like making your own.
Runners up: Pizza Guyz, Taste Of India, Oggies Street, Dogs Street Kitchen, Eatao Asian Fusion, Sunnys Nu Delhi, Yosi Healthy Street Food
