This Trick Will Get You Free Food From McDonald’s

Points = free food. Enough said.

Want free food from McDonald’s? There’s a new McDonald’s loyalty scheme launching across the UK that’ll allow customers to collect points to spend on food or donate to selected charities.

Following the pilot in the north of the UK, sign-ups were offered to the scheme from the 20th of July, so if you’ve been eyeing up the new McDonald’s menu, then you’d better get on it if you want to collect points.

How does the McDonald’s loyalty scheme work?

For every £1 spent, you earn 100 points to spend on the McDonald’s app.

Roughly 1,500 points can get you a side, such as fries, salad or hash browns. 2,500 points on the other hand can get you a little more, such as a free double cheeseburger, vegetable deluxe and other burgers of the same value.

Or if food isn’t on your mind, you can choose to donate the cash equivalent to selected charities such as the Ronald McDonald House, Children in Need, FareShare and more.

How do I redeem McDonald’s loyalty points?

If you opt into MyMcDonald’s Rewards and order and pay through the McDonald’s app, will automatically earn points. You can then use the app to order your food and you can apply your points at the checkout.

But if you go in-store or via drive-thru, you can use a one-time code at the kiosk, or give it to one of the crew.

What other Mcdonald’s offers are there?

Luckily for you, we have an exclusive Student Beans McDonald’s offer that’ll get you a Free Cheeseburger, Mayo Chicken or McFlurry® Original. Sign up to Student Beans to redeem this offer for free!
