This Pub Is Giving Away Two Free Pints Just For Visiting

Free beer? Sign us up, ASAP.

What’s better than one free beer? Two free beers! Who could refuse? Well, there’s a catch. And the couch potatoes among us won’t be pleased.

The Old Forge pub in the Scottish Highlands is offering each customer two complimentary beers, but there’s just one small catch.

You have to endure a 35 km trek through remote land to get there. Or brave the 11km sea crossing. Described as ‘Britain’s last wilderness’, the pub is located on the most remote part of mainland Britain, so at least the chances of bumping into an ex are slim.

The lengthy trek typically takes two days, but if you’re an avid hiker, it can be achieved in eight hours. And you’ll be rewarded with gorgeous natural Scottish landscapes and two free beers. Decent. The bevs might make the walk back a bit easier, too.

If you plan on braving the choppy sea or wild walk, all you have to do is say ‘wiggle’ to the staff at the bar to claim your free beers once you’re made it there.

Sports retailer Wiggle has joined forces with Knoydart Brewery, launching ‘Trale’ — a new, limited-edition beer; the one you’ll actually receive for completing the journey. Ahhh, now it makes sense.

Good luck and bottoms up!
