The Uni Vice-Chancellors That Received A HUGE Payrise Last Year

If you didn’t know, Vice-Chancellors are paid some of the highest salaries in the UK.

While the rest of us are feeling the full force of the cost of living crisis, your VC is probably receiving an eye-watering yearly salary. You might be struggling to pay your rent and are questioning what your 9k per year is actually going towards, but your VC is definitely living it up with a hefty 6 figure paycheck.

If you haven’t heard of this before it might shock you to hear that the VC of Imperial College London receives a modest salary of £714,000 PER YEAR.

For most of us, a 6 figure salary is something we can only dream of but every year our VCs are receiving a huge pay rise which is more than most graduates can expect to earn per year. Now while some VCs received a pay rise of 4-8k per year which isn’t hugely out of the ordinary, remember they already earn 6 figures and are earning more than enough already.
