McDonald’s is bringing back a fan favourite with a new and improved recipe.
That’s right, the spicy chicken McNuggets are making a comeback, promising a spicier taste than before and a “new and improved recipe.” Expect to see these hit menus as fast food fans prepare for the return of McDonald’s Monopoly on September 7.
Fun fact: the spicy chicken McNuggets will return to the menu for the first time since 2020 on the same day.
Get the spicy nuggs for £3.99 (which gets you a portion of 6). Yes, a 90p increase since they were last seen, but that’s why our McDonald’s student discounts exist to get you some freebies.
A box of nine spicy McNuggets cost £4.49, while a box of 20 spicy McNuggets Sharebox cost £5.99.
But that’s not all that’s making it in the Monopoly campaign
The Big Tasty, Mozzarella Dippers and the Mars and Twix McFlurry are returning to the menu and will join in the popular Monopoly promotion.
This will all replace the epic McDonald’s summer menu that many of you enjoyed this year.
Apparently, the Maccies Monopoly also includes the McPlant burger too, so even if you’re vegan, you can join in on the fun.

I’ve never heard of McDonald’s Monopoly — what it is?
The Maccies monopoly dates back to 2006 and works in a similar way to the classic board game itself. Simply buy the food items available in the promotion, peel the stickers and get an instant prize or collect the pieces you need for even bigger prizes.
You can also collect the property pieces of the same colour—just like you do when playing the board game, to be in with a chance of winning an even bigger prize.
Customers can claim their big wins via the McDonald’s app or online.
When does McDonald’s Monopoly 2022 start?
Stores nationwide will be starting the promotion on September 7, 2022. Not long to go at all!
How long is McDonald’s Monopoly 2022 on for?
There hasn’t been an end date announced for the McDonald’s Monopoly 2022, but we’ll be sure to update this page when we have more information.
Generally speaking, previous campaigns have usually run for around six weeks.
Is there an age limit to claim a prize?
You must be over 16 years old to claim a prize and 18 in some cases (check the McDonald’s Monopoly T&Cs).
