We’ve Predicted The Hottest Holiday Destinations For 2022

If you’re planning your 2022 holiday, here are the places to add to your list.

Chances are you either haven’t been on holiday for ages or you’ve had a holiday cancelled in the last 2 years. Luckily, with vaccine rollouts and more countries changing their rules many people have been able to enjoy a holiday towards the end of 2021.

If you haven’t had the chance to go away yet and you’re planning a holiday for summer 2022, here are the hottest destinations to add to your travel wishlist.

1. Tenerife

If you’re thinking of booking a getaway outside of peak flying times like school holidays or right in the middle of summer (understandably, as it will be much cheaper) Tenerife is a safe option as it’s pretty warm and sunny all year around. If you’re looking for your classic sun and sea break, it’s pretty cheap to travel to from the UK and is a great option for students on a budget.

2. New York City

International travel to the US is finally open again so that means you should be booking your trip to NYC asap! The city has lots to offer, from museums, amazing food, parks and tourist attractions. For many people who have been dying to visit the US, travel from the UK had been banned since the start of 2020, but with the ban lifted you’re finally free to experience all that NYC has to offer.

3. The Netherlands

Holland is home of the tulip and in 2022 will see the arrival of the Floriade Expo festival, a huge display of unique garden exhibitions and displays which is held every 10 years. Of course Amsterdam itself has always remained a popular tourist destination with students and has plenty to do on your visit there, but as the festival only happens every 10 years, 2022 is the year to make the trip.

4. Corfu

The Greek island is a popular tourist destination due to its endless beaches, clear seas, white sand and warm sunny weather. The towns are seeped in history and there are plenty of hotels and all inclusive resorts to help you truly enjoy your holiday while on a budget.

5. Sweden

If a beach holiday isn’t your thing, a trip to Sweden might be more your scene (and we all know that it’s home to Ikea and ABBA). Sweden has plenty of history and is full of beautiful national parks, coastlines and wilderness. You can even spot the Northern Lights if you’re in the right place at the right time!

When it comes to travelling, unfortunately there’s still a lot of uncertainty, however there’s no harm in planning ahead and putting money aside for your dream 2022 summer holiday already. If you love our 2022 travel predictions, you’ll also love our 2022 fashion predictions too (and maybe you can grab a new outfit for your holiday!) or perhaps you’re more interested in taking it a step further and studying abroad, in which case we’ve got that covered too.
