Get Your Food Shopping For Free By Doing Karaoke
You just have to be brave enough to sing in public.
If you’re looking for a hack to beat the cozzie livs, you’ve probably tried everything to cut down your weekly food shop but it can still be a big expense. There are only so many affordable food shops you can make, and let’s face it we all deserve to add a few sweet treats into our basket when we do our shop.
Well, if you’d love to get your next food shop for free SPAR has launched a new competition that could see you enjoying a week’s worth of free food, but there’s just one little catch and it’s not for the faint-hearted.
How can I get my food shopping for free?
SPAR’s brand new campaign Make Me A Champion has officially landed and is bringing us SPARaoke Saturdays. This is exactly what it sounds like, you’ll need to show off your singing skills to be rewarded with free prizes.
Every Saturday until the 13th of July, if you’re shopping in your local SPAR you’ll want to listen out for songs playing in-store. If you’re doing your shopping and an iconic song comes on, you’re encouraged to run to the checkout, grab the microphone and belt out at least 30 songs of the song.
Yes, this might be embarrassing but it could be worth it, as anyone who successfully does this first will not only win their entire basket of shopping for free, but could also win free groceries for a month.
Obviously, you have to be brave to do this but free groceries or 30 seconds of minor public embarrassment? We’ll leave the decision up to you.
You can polish up on your singing skills and try your luck at your local SPAR every Saturday until the 13th of July. Remember, you’ll need to sing for at least 30 seconds to qualify so make sure you feel confident with the lyrics of whatever song does come on.
