A restaurant in Bath is looking for a professional cocktail taster to join the team and help to perfect their menu. Yep, your official job title could be professional cocktail taster, it’s not a joke.

Here’s what you need to know.

What does the job involve?

You would be working at Green Park Brasserie in Bath, a live music restaurant and bar. Responsibilities would include:

  • Cocktail tasting and development
  • Supporting the launch of Green Pak Brasserie’s summer Aperol terrace and Aperol Spritz pop-up bar
  • Helping to launch a new cocktail and mocktail menu
  • Taking notes and making development logs
  • Identifying cocktail and food pairing opportunities

The chosen candidate will be paid £12 per hour (£28k per year) and have all taxi fares covered for traveling to and from work after Friday product development days. The role would also be part-time, so it’s perfect for students.

You’ll need to consider yourself as a cocktail connoisseur to apply and of course, have a suitable cocktail-drinking experience which shouldn’t be a problem for most students!

Luckily, you don’t have to be from or based in Bath to be eligible to apply as the restaurant is willing to cover the cost of flights, so you can be based anywhere in the UK or even abroad to be considered.
