Get Paid Over £12,000 To Live The Italian Dream

Thought about buying a house after graduation? Italy could be your new forever home, especially if you’re paid to move there.

Sardinia, an autonomous region of Italy, is offering literally thousands of pounds to relocate to some of their towns in aid of boosting their local economy.

It’s very similar to the initiative they had running back in 2021 where you could buy a house for just €1.

Why move to Sardinia?

Some places in Sardinia have less than 3,000 inhabitants, and with their brand new £38 million investment plan, they want to encourage people, especially young adults, to consider moving to this picturesque location.

We’re talking super small, but beautiful towns in Sardinia, where some may only have a few hundred locals.

In order to receive the £12,600 up for grabs, you must put it towards buying a house or renovating a property within the Sardinian town you move to. The amount received must not exceed half of the total cost of the property or the refurbishment, either.

What’s Sardinia like?

Sardinia is a beautiful holiday hotspot in the Mediterranean and a rather peaceful place to live. It’s got tons of sandy beaches and clear, turquoise waters. It’s so well preserved that it’s illegal to take anything on the beaches since a law was enforced back in 2017.

Some of the most stunning beaches on the islands are:

  • Porto Giunco
  • Spiaggia di Punta Molentis
  • Lu Importu Beach
  • Spiaggia di Porto Sa Ruxi

Sardinia also has beautiful towns such as Alghero, San Pantaleo, or Villasimius.

How do I get paid to move to Sardinia?

The grant is given to those who register their residence in a small town in Sardinia or to those who transfer their registered residence within 18 months from the purchase of the house or from the date of completion of the works.

Those who already have their original residence in another small town on the island cannot apply for the grant.

The contribution can also be granted to those who transfer their residence to a small Sardinian town but do not reside there at the time of submitting the application.

How long does it take to get to Sardinia?

It only takes two hours and a half to get to Sardinia from a UK airport, and flight prices start from as little as £30.
