Get Paid £100 & Enjoy Half Price Food When You Switch To This Bank
NatWest has launched a new student bank account for 2024 with loads of great benefits.
Choosing a bank account can be tricky, as different banks offer different benefits for students. However, NatWest has just introduced a new offer that will make the choice 10x easier for you thanks to some great perks. If you’re not too attached to your current bank account now might be the chance to make the switch as NatWest will actually pay you £100 to switch— which is a great deal if you need some extra cash.
What are the benefits of the NatWest student account?
The NatWest student account will be your primary bank account during your time at uni and for a limited time only is offering:
- £100 in cash FOR FREE when you switch
- An interest-free overdraft of up to £2,000 in your first year and £3,250 in your third year
- A free 4-year tastecard (worth £55 per year) which can give you half price meals at popular UK restaurants as well as other perks and discounts for students
If you think that switching is too much hassle, NatWest will make it super easy and help you move across any existing direct debits and standing orders from your existing bank account.
To be eligible for the £100 you need to be a new account holder and the money will be transferred into your account within 10 days of opening your new NatWest student account. You’ll also need to prove that you’re a student by showing some ID (your passport or driving license), proof of address (such as a bill or existing bank statement) and your 16-digit UCAS status code.
Once you open a NatWest student account you’ll have it for four years throughout your studies and will then be moved to a graduate account once you’ve graduated.
Another great feature for students is the NatWest Housemate app which allows you to easily split household bills and pay back your friends, which takes away the awkwardness of having money conversations with your housemates.
