Only This One Character Can Be In Game Of Thrones & House Of The Dragon

Fan of the House of the Dragon series out lately? You’ll be shook at what we just discovered.

Psst — there may or may not be spoilers in this article, depending on whether our theory comes true, of course. You’ve been warned!

The Game of Thrones (GoT) spin-off, was set almost 200 years before Jon Snow and crew took on the Night King and his creepy Army of the Dead.

The similarities between them are so stark, that we’ve actually noticed a little tidbit that could make fans super excited (we know we are!).

We have a theory that a GoT character might make an appearance.

Yes, irrespective of the timeline, or is it? If you’ve been paying attention, you may have this theory too.

Currently, the show is following the Targaryen dynasty in Westeros. More specifically, characters such as King Viserys, Prince Daemon and Princess Rhaenyra.

Now let’s put a pin on that for a second, and fast-forward to GoT times. Remember The Red Woman? AKA Lady Melisandre? They revealed they were pretty old in the series after removing the red necklace.

The lore states Melisandre is actually hundreds of years old. So is it bizarre to assume they could make an appearance in House of the Dragon?

If you’re thinking “nah mate”, here’s what the actress for Melisandre, Carice van Houten, said on her Instagram story:

“Just watched House of the Dragon.

“I’m just saying, Melisandre is centuries old…”

Yeah. We don’t think it’s a wild theory, given her status boost post-GoT.

Obviously, a cameo isn’t guaranteed, but we can’t help but hope so. Especially as a second season has already been announced already.

But for now, we’ll wait in anticipation of how the show will explore Westeros and everything in between.
