What are siren eyes?

Siren eyes is a look where you incorporate layers of subtle colour with winged eyeliner to create a smooth and sultry eye look. The look has been praised for being universally flattering on all eye shapes and creating an edgy and defined look. The look has gone viral on TikTok with a bunch of creators showing how to achieve the look and how it can easily transform your entire face in a few simple steps.

One of the key points of this look is the sharp eyeliner, which will help to make your eyes have a more upturned almond shape, making your eyes appear more narrow and smokey.

How to do siren eyes

If you want to try the trend for yourself, there are a bunch of tutorials floating around TikTok right now. So, you should be able to follow along pretty easily. The key to this look is remembering to blend outwards rather than inwards, for a smokey and sultry effect.

To create this look you’ll need some blendable eyeshadows and eyeshadow or eyeliner pencils. You’ll need to start by priming your eyes to help keep your eye makeup in place every day, then simply swipe a soft brown eyeshadow or bronzer over your eyelids and lower lash line with a fluffy makeup brush.

Once you’ve blended your brown eyeshadow outwards, you can apply a deeper colour on top and using a pencil eyeliner in an even darker shade you can draw on a thin line of eyeliner. If you have hooded eyes and often struggle with this type of makeup look, you can draw the eyeliner line just above your natural crease line so that it’s more visible. Make sure that your eyeliner has a sharp triangle in the inner corner, which you can achieve with either an eyeliner pencil or with your eyeshadow.

Once you’ve done this to finish up using a cotton swab with some concealer on to clean up the edges to make sure your eyeliner is super sharp. Finally, swipe some highlighter below both wings to give you that glowy effect and you’re done, it’s as easy as that!
