How long does the Currys Black Friday sale last?
Currys Black Friday deals usually stretch beyond the traditional one-day event. So, this year the sale started almost three weeks before Black Friday (November 29, 2024).
Even after Cyber Monday, the deals may keep on coming. Some stores keep the momentum going by teasing early Christmas sales and deals.
But don’t expect the best things to hang around – you’ll need to be quick to get the best deals before they sell out.
What offers can I expect in Currys Black Friday sale?

Last year we spotted 4K UHD TVs from brands such as Samsung, LG and Toshiba.
This year, the SAMSUNG S90D 65-inch OLED 4K HDR Smart TV (2024) – QE65S90D has £500 off, reducing the price from £2099 to £1599.
Another option this Black Friday is this LG C4 55 inch OLED evo 4K HDR Smart TV (2024) – OLED55C44LA which is reduced by £700, taking it from £1,899 to just £1,199 which is a steal.
TV accessories such as soundbars, speakers, Firesticks and compatible smart home devices are also going to be in demand.
If you want to upgrade a standard TV to a smart TV or get unlimited access to any apps and movies you want, this Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max with Alexa Voice Remote is reduced by £25 and now costs just £44.99.

Best deals on headphones
Let’s face it – headphones are a must if you’re a student and you need to get some work done.
Whether you’re dealing with noisy flatmates or just trying to focus, a decent set of noise-cancelling over-ears can be a game changer.
But if you’re in the market for a great set of headphones, you’ll have to wait. Currys only has a handful of deals available.
The best we could find was these BOSE QuietComfort SC Wireless Bluetooth Noise-Cancelling Headphones in black. They’re currently £179 – that’s a saving of £140.
Apple AirPods are rarely discounted other than around Black Friday so take advantage of snagging the AirPods Pro 2nd Generation for £179 and save over £50 on them.
The Sony WH-1000XM5 Wireless Bluetooth Noise-Cancelling Headphones are super popular with students and this Black Friday you can grab them from Currys and save £50, as they’re on sale for £249 reduced from £299.
If you’re looking for a gaming headset we’d recommend the Razer Kraken V3 X USB 7.1 Gaming Headset which is currently on sale at Currys lowest ever price– £33.99 saving you £30.
Best deals on smartwatches
Last year we saw good deals on the Apple Watch SE, 8 and 7 series, as well as the Google Pixel Watch but it’s often best to check back every day to see what new deals are added.
The best deal we can find this year is on the Apple Watch SE (2023) – 40 mm Midnight Aluminium Case with Midnight Sports Band, S/M which is £179.
If you’d rather have a different brand of smartwatch the Garmin Venu 3 – Slate is reduced from £499 to £349 saving you over £150.
Best deals on phones
Phones are always a hot ticket and this year is no exception with the release of the new iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus.
For Black Friday 2024, you can get £20 off the iPhone 16— costing you just £779.
There are also some good deals on some of the older models which aren’t hugely different from the iPhone 16.
You can save £50 on the iPhone 14 scoring it for just £549 (which is nearly £250 cheaper than the latest model with very similar features and the latest iOS software).
Or you could save £154 on the Samsung Galaxy A55 5G – 128 GB and pay just £285.

Best deals on vacuum cleaners
Black Friday at Currys has already started on vacuum cleaners if you’ve been looking to upgrade for a while.
We found this Shark Anti Hair Wrap with PowerFins IZ300UKT Cordless Vacuum Cleaner for £229.00. That’s a saving of £170.99 and is a must if you have long hair or a typically messy student kitchen.
Another deal for Black Friday is on the Dyson Cyclone V10 Total Clean Cordless Vacuum Cleaner which is now £299 and has been reduced by £150.99 from the original price.
Don’t forget to check out for deals from other brands such as Hoover, Vax and robot vacuum cleaners like the Eufy RoboVac.
When does the Currys Black Friday sale start?
This year Black Friday is Friday, 29 November, 2024.
Cyber Monday is the following Monday, 2 December, so you can expect to see discounts across the whole weekend and deals have already started dropping.
What are the Currys opening times on Black Friday and Cyber Monday?
If you prefer to shop in-store rather than online, Currys stores will be open as usual over Black Friday weekend.
Most stores open from 10 AM to 6 PM or 8 PM. However, this can vary by location. Your local store will likely open during its regular hours. Check online to confirm when your local Currys closes. This way, you can plan your day better.
