Nick Clegg says sorry to students... IN SONG
Autotune may be killing music, but it's making our Thursday morning MUCH more bearable...
It's sad, so sad - according to Elton John and (tragically) Blue - but 'sorry' seems to be the hardest word.
As it turns out, this is especially true in the case of politicians. Two years after he broke his promise about not raising tuition fees Nick Clegg has finally plucked up the courage to make an apology that no one cares about.
In a video filmed in his very own house Clegg seems to apologise for making the promise in the first place, rather than the thing that really pissed the nation's students off and caused them to riot - the coalition's decision to allow unis to charge up to £9,000.
Sounds dull, right? Yeah, it kinda was. That is until The Poke got their hands on it.
Proving that you most certainly can polish a turd, they've used every R&B artist's favourite career-saver, Autotune, to turn the Deputy PM's apology into a catchy little ditty that will probably be this year's X-Factor winner's single.
If you can't get enough of Nick make sure you check out the video of him calling all young people C*%Ts.
But for now, take it away, Cleggy...
