26 random acts of kindness that will make your day
All in the name of those tragically killed in the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting.
In the hustle and bustle of modern day life kindness can sometimes go out the window.
It needn't be big things. You simply might push past someone on the way to your lectures or treat someone a bit badly because you're in a bad mood. Well that's naughty of you. Very, very naughty.
Why not be nice? American journalist Ann Curry thought the same and called upon all of her Twitter followers to do 26 random acts of kindness for strangers, all in order to honour the 26 victims of the recent Connecticut school shooting. They responded.
Soon #26acts was trending worldwide and the world was becoming a nicer place. Kind act by kind act. Here are some of the best.
