Monster Rat killed in Bradford
Mega rats have invaded! But only in Bradford.
A giant rat, dubbed Ratzilla in the British tabloids, has been shot dead in the West Yorkshire town of Bradford, where fears are growing about an influx of monster rodents invading people's home.
At 2.5ft, the rat was the same size as a bulldog, and twice the size of a normal rat. Brandon Goddard, who shot the animal, said he saw four others of the same size during the 'terrifying' incident. 'I was shaking. Goodness knows where the others went. I'm glad I don't live there' he added sympathetically.
Experts meanwhile think the rats could be descendants of the South American coypu species, which have not been seen in Britain for two decades. Whatever they are, we recommend not buying a takeaway in Bradford for a while...
