Little bear lost
Meet Meare-Kat. He is lost and needs your help to find his way home...
This well-loved knitted bear has lost his family.
There the teddy bear was, enjoying a day by the sea in Thorpeness, Suffolk, when he found himself all alone in The Meare Shop tearoom.
Workers at the tearoom have since set up a Facebook page, recruiting over 3,000 members in order to spread the word of Meare-Kat - named after the tearoom in which he was found - and locate his owner.
The Facebook page shows photos of Meare-Kat enjoying his holiday by the sea, with snaps posted of the bear with an ice cream, playing in the sand and chilling on a rowing boat.
But Meare-Kat is ready to go home now. Having featured in regional and national news, things are looking hopeful and you might have even caught the little mite on GMTV this morning.
Help spread the work by joining the Facebook group or following 'thelosttoy' on Twitter.
