Racist Sesame Street character harasses kids
A giant Elmo from Sesame Street has been swearing at children and unleashing racist tirades in New York this week.
A man dressed up as the incredibly popular character Elmo from Sesame Street has been terrorising children and passers-by in New York's Central Park this week.
He's been spotted on numerous occasions in recent months, swearing loudly, being generally offensive and in one video releasing an anti-Semitic tirade.
In the first video, below, he keeps up his 'friendly' Elmo wave whilst screaming obscenities. A man in a tuxedo covered in love hearts, with a pony tail, squares up to him one point - 'do I look like I'm playing with you Elmo?' he demands. At this point you start to feel a bit sorry for Elmo.
In the second video depicting his anti-Semitic rant, at one point Elmo screams 'I'm not making any money because the Jewish costume company's harassing me'. One passer-by comments 'that is the scariest Elmo I've seen in my life' and another states 'he's horrible'.
Eventually Elmo is captured and taken away in an ambulance, still in costume (see his bright red legs and huge red feet sticking out in the pic below).
