Dutch stalker called ‘boyfriend’ 65,000 times

Ringing someone 178 times a day is the new 'playing hard to get'...

A Dutch woman is to face charges of stalking after it emerged she had called a man 65,000 times in the past year.

This works out as an average of 178 calls per day - what, so that’s NOT normal? Oh...

Her lawyers claimed that the 42-year-old was in a relationship with the man in question and therefore her actions were not excessive.

The victim of the harassment - who, let’s be honest, should probably have changed his number - denies that they were in a relationship.

At a preliminary hearing the judge granted the woman bail providing she leave the man alone. Guess what happened next and you win a prize...

Yep. Within a couple of hours of being released she had called him again, and has been kept in custody ever since.
